I joined my Deputy Chairman, Vice Chairman Lagos East, and all coordinators of Ikorodu division, attended the Ikorodu Division town hall meeting as key stakeholders in Ikorodu and Lagos State. The meeting was well-represented, with attendees including:
- CP Fayoade Adegoke, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, and other top police officials
- Chairmen and Royal fathers of Ikorodu Division
- Market, CDC, and NURTW leaders
- Other stakeholders from Ikorodu Division
During the meeting, I highlighted the major concerns of youths regarding the state of the nation and urged Ikorodu and Lagos youths to have a rethink on violent protests. As the statutory representative of Lagos youths, the NYCN Lagos State will present our grievances to the government. I also took the opportunity to inform all stakeholders about the upcoming NYCN Lagos State press conference on July 27th.
