On Friday, 19th July 2024, We led NYCN Lagos executives on a courtesy visit to Builder Olusesan Daini , Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and PRO of Conference 57. We were warmly received at his office, where we praised his youth-friendly approach and emphasized the importance of partnership between NYCN and local government authorities in promoting youth development initiatives.
We discussed enhancing youth empowerment programs and exploring joint initiatives to uplift young individuals in the council area.
A significant outcome of the visit was the announcement of a Master's Scholarship for an indigene, Comrade Romoke Ogunlana, a first-class graduate of Education Management from LASU. Builder Daini reiterated his commitment to supporting educational advancement and human capital development of youths in the council area.
After the meeting, we paid homage to Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa and traditional ruler of Igbogbo community in Ikorodu as a show of respect for my traditional heritage.
