We had the pleasure of leading other state executive members on a familiarization visit to the Ministry of Youths and Social Development under the qualitative leadership of Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende.
The meeting was facilitated by our immediate predecessor, Comrade Biliamin Oba, who once again introduced the new leadership structure to the ministry.
We took the opportunity to express our gratitude to HC Mobolaji Ogunlende for gracing the elective congress that ushered in our administration.
Similarly, we appreciated Pharm. Mrs. Oluwatoyin Oke-Osanyintolu and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Alabi Opeyemi, for their support for our administration.
The meeting afforded us the unique opportunity to share our plans as encapsulated in the P3 Agenda with the ministry as we appealed for their support in bringing them to life. The Honorable Commissioner and the Permanent Secretary reassured us of a stronger alliance between the youth umbrella body and the ministry, reiterating Governor Sanwo-Olu's immense commitment to youth empowerment and development.
Also in attendance at the auspicious meeting were some elders and leaders of the youth body, including the Vice-president NYCN Southwest, Comr. Tomi Amosu, Leader Ishaq Alabi, Leader Ismail Lanleyin, Leader Ismail Odulana, Dynamite Ewedemi, Leader Akin Alex Allen, Leader Bolaji Belinda Bayode, and Leader Olayinka Oresile.
