On September 28, 2024, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Itire-Ikate Local Branch proudly joined the global community to commemorate International Youth Day with a powerful theme:
“Elevate Your Business Through Digitalization: From Clicks to Progress.”
This year’s celebration focused on empowering young entrepreneurs with the digital knowledge and tools necessary to scale their businesses in today’s fast-evolving tech landscape.
One of the key moments of the day was the decoration of Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, as Grand Patron of NYCN Itire-Ikate Branch. He was also honored with a special award in recognition of his outstanding youth-focused programs, which align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
